The SIO-485.LPCI provides a high-speed RS-422/RS-485 serial interface, ideal for connecting industrial peripherals, SeaI/O modules, and POS systems. With Oxford 16C950 UART and 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs, it ensures maximum reliability in data-intensive applications. The onboard connector routes power from the host to provide +5VDC or +12VDC to connected peripherals, such as RS-485 SeaI/O modules. The optional RS-485 terminal block kit includes a DB9 female connector and five screw terminals, simplifying the connection to field wiring. The SeaI/O Interface Kit provides everything needed for RS-485 Modbus/RTU communications, including DB9F to RJ45 modular adapters and CAT5 patch cables.
